Our school Director Mrs. Ramona Pulle De Silva was trained and educated in Early Childhood Education at University of California, Los Angeles, USA. She also worked for many years with young children at one of the most prestigious pre schools in Santa Monica, California. She is also an active member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) USA. Ramona has been successfully running the Discovery Centre in Colombo since January 2003.

Our educators are young, friendly and full of energy to keep up with our young friends. They are also experienced, patient and loving individuals who are trained to value each child’s strengths and needs. The educators are also motivated and trained to work closely with families.

All our educators have Diploma in Pre School / Montessori Education and undergo weekly in house training in Child Development and continued regular assessments.
